About the event

As part of the Building Your Spiritual Muscle series, on Sunday, September 25th, 12:15 – 2:15 PM, Rev. David will be doing an introductory class on the transformational system of sacred psychology known as the Enneagram of Personality or simply the Enneagram.

The Enneagram offers insight into nine distinct personality types. In a way, it’s a window into why people do what we do. It explains how different people see the world, allowing us to understand where other people are coming from. The Enneagram has been widely promoted in both business management and spirituality contexts through seminars, conferences, books, magazines, and DVDs. In business contexts it is generally used as a typology to gain insights into workplace interpersonal dynamics; in spirituality it is more commonly presented as a path to higher states of being, essence, and enlightenment. Both contexts say it can aid in self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-development. We will be looking at the Enneagram in a spiritual context as a map or navigational system that guides us through the interior spiritual journey of awakening to our true self.

This class is in-person in the USCW Chapel and will not be available on Zoom. For those interested, additional Enneagram classes to explore the Enneagram more deeply, will be scheduled later this year and in 2023.

If you are interested in taking this introductory class, a sign-up sheet can be found in our up-stairs Community Room or call our Centre’s office 519-253-3144 and leave a message with your name and contact information and let us know you are interested in attending the class. Your free will donation for the class is greatly appreciated and makes our classes possible.
