A Long Time Ago - ‘u kwun’a wulh hith
People from all four directions possess creation stories, origins, and lifestyles connected to their home environments. In the first of three webinars, we will concentrate on a group that has inhabited the largest island on North America's west coast, exploring their stories, history, and harmonious relationship with their surroundings. What was life like on the island before contact? How has the environment changed since then? Who are the original inhabitants? We will explore these questions to deepen our understanding of those who called Vancouver Island home.
