About the event
This free series is Unity Canada’s gift to you and is open to everyone – invite your friends and family. It offers us an opportunity to deepen our understanding of First Peoples in Canada - their creation stories, their harmonious relationship with their surroundings before contact, and how their world subsequently changed. Tsumqwatun will guide us through this history and invite us to consider what it means to work together today, honouring the Indigenous principle that every being plays a role in shaping our shared world.
Webinar 2: Life After Contact – Building on what we learned in Webinar 1 "A Long Time Ago", this time we ask these important questions: How have things changed? What is today’s world like for these peoples? How have they faired thus far, after contact? (2 CEUs: Inclusivity + General)
