About the event
This seminar will propose that the Hero’s Inner Journey should be understood as a psycho-spiritual stage theory that describes how consciousness can evolve during the second half of life. According to this fresh perspective, egocentric consciousness (the starting point of the journey) can be transformed into authenticity, altruism and wholeness (the end point of the journey). From the vantage points of Mystical Alchemy and Depth Psychology this heroic shift in consciousness can be attributed to the sister processes of transmutation and transcendence. The seminar on January 18th will identify and describe each of the inflection points that a hero will encounter on their journey. After detailing the hero's internal shifts, these shifts will then be interpreted from Jungian and alchemical perspectives
